The third step in the Workflow Wizard is to customize your workflow, which may need you to answer some questions to make the integration fit your processes.
Each workflow has slightly different questions, depending on what the workflow does and the specific apps connected. Place your cursor over the blue circle with question mark icon to read a detailed explanation of each question.
To customize your workflow, go through each question box on the customization screen. Those marked with a red star are mandatory, otherwise they are optional.
Most questions have a drop down box showing the options available in your applications. If there is no drop down menu visible, then it is a text box for you to enter a value or description.
When you have completed the required fields, click NEXT. You are now taken to Step 4 in the Wizard, Give your workflow a name. You can edit the name of your workflow if required.
Tip: Before you begin it can be helpful to write down a brief description of your existing business processes. This can help replicate your current processes as closely as possible when answering the customization questions.
For example, assuming you choose the workflow Transfer Orders from your webshop to your accounts, what is the Status used today on the webshop orders that you would normally transfer to your accounting software? Once orders are transferred to your accounts, what is their Status in your accounting software?
